Dear Fellow Bloggers and Followers,
This tired thief needs your help! I've been sifting through my dashboard and reading as many posts as I possibly can, but I can't seem to get through it all. (Big sigh!) It has taken hours to visit a fraction of the blogs I follow. My butt can't stay in this chair any longer, but I MUST find out what I missed. I've simply been out of the game far too long. I need your guidance and advice. I'm begging!!
Please post a link to a blog post that you have found especially helpful, creative, or fun in the past (uh...I'm embarrassed to say) three months. The gems of the blogging world if you will. I'm most interested in 4th grade activities as that is what I can use in my classroom right away. Don't be shy and feel free to post back to yourself.
Perhaps with your help, I can catch up on the best of the last 3 months and discover some new wonderful blogs that I have been missing out on along the way. I can't wait to see what I've missed.
Thanks, Amanda
Here is a link to my reading and technology centers that I have implemented and will continue to do so till the end of he year. Enjoy! http://ericashep.blogspot.com/2012/04/reading-technology-centers.html
ReplyDeleteThis isn't a link to anything...just something that worked when I did not take my laptop on spring break. I subscribe to RSS feeds, and in google reader there is a search button so you can find topics from all the blogs you subscribe to easily.
ReplyDeleteI marked 'all as read' at a certain point and then when I want something for cause and effect, just type it in and voila! it brings up the blog entries in chronological order!
I am pretty clueless tech-wise, so knowing how dashboard works is beyond me, but this works for me.
Great idea! Thanks!
DeleteHey Amanda...
ReplyDeleteI was inspired by your bingo board as a classroom incentive. As I already had another thing I do (and thought, gee, I really shouldn't change now) my mind spun it into another way to use it as math review at calendar. I know you teach 4th, but maybe you could use it as a math center, etc. modified for older grades?? Either way, I gave you a shout out on my blog (just getting rolling with it). Thanks for the inspiration!! I joined your site to stay tuned for more inspiration! :) I always like to get an older grade's perspective as well.
Come on by if you want... appleteaching.blogspot.com
